40 Years Celebrations.  St.Mellans Handball Club will be celebrating a major milestone in 2014 as we ring in the clubs 40th year in existence, the committee are currently hard at work organising a gala night to celebrate the occasion, we will be publishing a booklet for the event and hope to have a launch night for it in the not too distance future, if anyone inside or even outside the club have any old photo’s or memorabilia from the past 40 years we would very grateful for all the help.

Back in Action. Unfortunately as the nights become longer and as the summer comes to a close the attention begins to switch from the green grass to the indoors of the alley, as that time of year again approaches we are encouraging all players to get back into the swing of things before all events kick off, we would ask parents to try and get juveniles back down as we hope to get juvenile events up and running earlier this year to run alongside the re-opening of the schools, so keep an eye out for notes of all on-goings but be down practicing in the meantime.

AGM. The club will be holding the AGM next month and we would like to ask people of the area to consider coming on board this term to help out, as the club grows steadily bigger each year the amount of organising events leagues etc also increases, so as the old saying goes “many hands make light work”.
