Last evening Monaghan Coaching and Games Development ran an U8 & U10 Hurling Go Games Blitz. The blitz took place in Cloghan on what was a fantastic evening for hurling. Plenty of water breaks were needed!

The following clubs all took part Inniskeen, Carrickmacross HC, Castleblayney HC, Monaghan Harps HC, Truagh, Craobh Rua (Armagh) and Clontibret Camogie. In total there were 8 U10 teams & 7 U8 teams. With 8 pitches up and running all teams got at least 4 matches.

There were over 100 children taking part in the blitz which was fantastic to see and well done to all the mentors who are doing the work within our clubs.

Thanks to all the referee`s, team mentors, parents and most importantly the children for playing.

The next blitz is fixed for the 23^rd July and again this blitz will be held in Cloghan.
