The second of this year’s Double Go Games blitzes (Under 8 and Under 10 together)  took place on Thursday 18th July. In all there were 4 blitzes that took place throughout the county. The 4 host venues were;

• Inniskeen –  Carrickmacross, Ballybay Donaghamoyne and Toome participated in this blitz.
• Truagh– Emyvale, Eire Og and Scotstown participated in this blitz.
• Seans –   Aghabog, Monaghan Harps, and Clones participated in this blitz.
• Aughnamullan –  Doohamlet, Rockcorry, Currin and Oram  participated in this blitz.

Magheracloone blitz will take place on Thursday 25th July, clubs to attend; Castleblayney, Killanny, Clontibret and Cremartin.

Drumhowan blitz will take place in August.

Overall 24 clubs took part in the blitzes, 680 children took part in playing in the blitzes.

The weather was very good to us which made the blitzes even more enjoyable.  Again a big thank you to the host clubs for the use of their facilities, organising fixtures and setting up of pitches.  We would also like to thank the clubs that took part in the blitzes and a big thank you to the referee’s who done an excellent job of referring the games.

Next Blitz:  Under 8 blitzes  on Saturday 10^th August, Host co-ordinators will be in contact with all clubs.
