The first of the Under 10 Go Games Blitzes took place on Saturday last, 20th April. In all there were 3 blitzes that took place throughout the county on Saturday. The 3 host venue’s where

• Castleblayney –  Carrickmacross, Latton, Monaghan Harps and Cremartin participated in this blitz.
• Clontibret – Emyvale, Clones,Truagh, Scotstown and Eire Og participated in this blitz.
• Cloghan – Donaghmoyne, Inniskeen, Magheracloone, Killanny,  Killeevan, Aghabog, Tyholland, Fergal O Hanlons, Rockcorry, Drumhowan, Corduff, Ballybay and Doohamlet participated in this blitz.

Overall 24 clubs took part in the blitzes, 480 children took part in playing in the blitzes.

We would like to thank the host clubs for the use of their facilities, organising fixtures, setting up of pitches and providing refreshments for after the blitz.

We would also like to thank the 24 clubs that took part in the blitzes, also a big thank you to the referee’s, who done an excellent job of refereeing the games.

Next Blitz: Under 8’s on Saturday 27th April. Host co-ordinators will be in contact with all clubs.
