Alpha Lotto – Winning Letters for last Sunday nights lotto in Bens Place was B,K,X,Z. There was no jackpot winner. Membership – membership rates for 2013 will remain unchanged at €20 and can be paid to Enda McCluskey. We would encourage existing club members to renew their subscriptions as soon as possible and we would sincerely welcome any newcomers wishing to join. All Senior players are reminded that monies must be paid before the commencement of the 2013 season. Any player who fails to pay the membership fees will not be considered for selection and similarly the club will decline to cover any medical expenses incurred in the event of an injury being sustained.
Congratulations – to Michael Tierney ,Dermot Gleeson, Matthew Mc Elvaney, Corey Mc Aree, Francis Mc Mahon and Joe Gavin in winning the U16 VEC County Final with Largy College last week.
Best Wishes – to John Mc Donald Lough Oonagh Smithboro, who will be launching a book “Ó Sliabh Go Luchunán” at Newtown Club Drumcondrath outside Ardee, on Sat. 15th Dec. 9pm – 1am. Proceeds in aid of Bowel Cancer Bi Polar Manic Depression Breast Cancer and Drug Addiction.
Monaghan GAA Awards – Congratulations to our own Jim O Rourke who won the senior hurling referee of the year, recently announced at last week’s county convention.
Mouth guards – It becomes mandatory to use a mouth guard in all football matches and training sessions for all age grades up to and including minor from January 1st 2013, and at U21 and Adult level from January 1st 2014. An information sheet will be circulated to all underage players and parents prior to the commencement of the 2013 season.
