Monaghan’s vocational schools footballers booked their place in a fourth successive Ulster final thanks to a four-point win over Tyrone in Friday’s semi-final.

Inniskeen’s bid for All-Ireland hurling glory ended with a semi-final defeat to Kilkenny side John Lockes on Sunday, but there was early-season silverware for the county ladies footballers, who beat UUJ in the Dowd Cup Final.
